Player Development Academy
Personal Basketball Instruction Philosophy:
Player Development is a year long intense/innovative program for intermediate to advanced players who are serious about improving their basketball skill level and fundamentals. Each session consists of 8-10 players and provides players with the opportunity to improve their skills individually in a group setting in a four or five week session interval. Our Academy is a wonderful way to improve your game for the AAU season, upcoming Summer Camps or Showcases, as well as next year's season.
Building Block Approach:
Each player’s game will be assessed from an overall standpoint. The instruction will seek to hone in on individual player weaknesses, improve their overall basketball IQ and understanding of hoop concepts, add new fundamental skills to their game, break defenders down off the dribble and through offensive attack moves, improve their defensive ability and increase the player’s basketball athleticism.
Once intermediate skills have been mastered, more advanced basketball drills and concepts will be introduced. The results have proven to be the most effective for player development in terms of preparing player’s to think the game, motivate them to continue their improvement as well as building confidence in each player’s overall game.
