Southern Maine Class C & D Preview

December 12th, 2009
New England Recruiting Report

It should come down to the wire in Class C & D in Southern Maine this year

In Class C, Waynflete who has lost in the regional final returns a good one in Morgan Woodhouse, a solid inside presence. The Flyers return some very good veterans but will need to rely on seven freshmen.  Traip Academy has a number of sophomores including Selena Lorrey who appear ready to be significant factors and hopefully push this team beyond the preliminary round of the playoffs.

Class D should prove to be a dog fight between Greater Portland Christian, who returns two starters and made it to the quarterfinals last year, and Seacoast Christian Academy who just missed the playoffs last year but returns three starters.
