NESTARZ Showcase

 NESTARZ  ran their annual certified showcase event Saturday , October 3rd at Northeastern University and an NERR  was on hand to recap the event.

Here’s a look at the players who impressed
 

Class 2010

Laura Amorosa 6’0 Philips Andover (NH) – active defender, showed her ability to put the ball on the floor and score. Solid passer. Very active defender.

Caroline Brasa  5’11,  East Catholic(CT) - lefty who did a solid job finishing and getting to the rim.

Lauren Rousseau 5’7 Biddleford (ME) - fluid athlete that was able to score in a variety of ways.

Class 2011

Jennifer Bujnowski  6’2,  Salem (NH)  - good screener, hit the offensive glass hard, long post player who got good position. Had a ton of put backs.

Ashley Leblanc 6’1, Methuen (MA) –another long post who was effective on the interior at fighting for position, finishing and blocking shots. Good athlete and ran the floor very well.

Kate Parsons 6’1, Hampden Academy (ME) – wing who can really shoot it. Showed an ability to play inside and out.

Class of 2012

Skylar Caligaris 5’9 BB&N (MA) – solid shooter especially from three. Did a nice job rising into her jumper as well as shooting under duress.

Alex Rusk 6’4 Phillips Andover (NH) – long post who finished extremely well around the rim. Moved her feet well in the post on both ends.

Lauren Taiclet 6’0 Noble and Greenough (MA) – Good shooter with a nice pull up.

Class of 2013

Morgan Lumb 5’7 North Andover (MA) – crafty player who pushed the ball and was able to get to the lane and finish. Extremely active defender.
