Hoop Mountain Super Week - Camp Review

Standout players were plentiful at Hoop Mountain this week
The Hoop Mountain Basketball Camp had a number of standout players during Super Week. There were over 50 coaches in attendance to see these and many more showcase their talents
Listed is just a sampling of the talent that was present.
Sara Binkhorst: solid point guard, directs floor well, knows the game, quick release, drives through traffic, can finish with contact. Attends Hall High School in West Hartford, Conn. Will be playing through July before making any college decisions.
Samantha Barnes: Smart, sound player who finishes strong to the rim. Big girl with good footwork. Attends Northampton HS
Dana Theobald: Junior point guard, good ball handler, passes and reads the floor well. Quick first step, good distributer. Guard who can handle traffic on both the left and right side. Good body control, footwork and range. Attends West Springfield HS
Morgan Murphy: Inside powerhouse with hang time. Finishes strong, fearless inside game. Attends Wethersfield H.S. in Connecticut.
Megan Bowman: Senior point guard, Dannemora, NY. athletic and quick, good court vision, drives hard, can get to the rim and distributes well.
Ashley Forrand: Junior, Storrs, CT. point guard, good handle, fast in transition and gets to the basket
Nicole Stacey: Senior, Uxbridge, MA. goes to the basket hard, strong dribbler, great left hand
Catherine Cloutier: Senior, Lononderry, NH. Forward, finishes with contact, nice post moves, works well with back to the basket, rebounds with intensity
Cheyenne Jennings: Senior, Wachusett HS athletic 1 or 2 guard, aggressive to the basket, nice ball handler, has good range
Kayla Papazian: Forward, stand out player, vocal leader, hustles, uses body well, strong inside game. Junior at Arch Bishop Williams HS.
Sarah Bierly: Junior, Portland, HS, guard, plays with consistency, smart defender, and quick with good handle.
Shannon El-Qasem: Senior, Wachusett HS forward, uses body well and welcomes pressure. Strong with and without the ball, works hard inside-excellent touch.
Kayla McAvoy: Junior, Old Saybrook, CT. works hard on the glass, finishes strong on two feet, smart defender inside.
Ara Talkov: Sophmore, Swampscott HS, Textbook shooter with good range and the height of a forward.
Megan Otto: Junior, Scituate HS. Sound player and great communicator, scores at will, has great body control and sees the floor well.
Morgan Olander: A big who uses length and size well, good shooter. Junior who plays for E.O. Smith HS, Conn.
Sam Mangano: Senior from Winchester HS with good size, shoots well from the outside and drives hard to the basket.
Erin Doherty: Junior from Marshfield HS. Post who moves well in the open court, sets up teammates to score, has success with back to the basket and finishes strong with contact.
Blake Underhill: Junior, Ashland HS. Fast up the court, smart defender and good 3pt shooter; can get to the basket and is not afraid to get physical in the paint.
Ashley Perez: Junior, Manchester HS Extremely athletic point guard with an excellent knowledge of the game, her physicality is difficult to match. Can drive through traffic with control and power up. Sets teammates up well for easy buckets. Has the ability to take over a game.
Cara Manfredi: Senior at Glastonbury H.S, Good ball handler with a 3pt shot, determined defender who can get to the rim on offense.
Montana McBirney: Senior, North Quincy, Post who reads defense well and knows when to kick the ball back out. Comfortable playing behind the arc.
Lexi Gill: Sophomore, Tabor Academy, Has great inside/out game. Consistent 3pt shooter, aggressive both offensively and defensively, smart with the ball, good handle and good court vision. Physical slasher
Christian Wojtas: Senior, Souhegan HS. wing who knows how to get to the basket and is a consistent player, shot the has the ball very well from 3 point land.
Aiden Duquette: Junior, Archbishop Williams. Extremely athletic, goes strong to the basket and is a persistent, smart defender with great fundamentals. Consistent shot from behind the arc.
Molly Devine: Post Grad, New Hampton Wakefield, RI. 6’2 post with a big presence inside. Nice pull up short jumper from 15 feet.
Katie Glenn: Senior, Cathedral HS. Springfield, MA. Utility player, strong build, rebounds very well and has a nice shot. Smart, hard working player on both offense and defense
Marta Cruz: Spain Great 3pt shooter with textbook form. Has an all around game and knows how to get inside to score. Team player from Madrid, Spain. Looking to play college ball in the United States.
Blanca Sanchez: Spain, Excellent understanding of the game and knows where to move without the ball. Can score at will and has a great touch shooting and driving through the paint. Superior ball and body control. Lives in Murcia, Spain. Looking to play college ball in the United States.
Laura Marcos: Spain, Sees the court very well, drives hard to the basket and can finish with contact. Can score from anywhere on the court and sets up teammates to score. Great hands and is a high quality defender. Practices in Spain with an NCAA Division I equivalent team. Looking to play college basketball in the United States.
