Coulombe commits to Boston College

BC gets McCauley Junior

Alexa Coulombe has verbally committed to receive a basketball scholarship at Boston College. Coulombe, who is entering her junior year, attend McAuley in Maine. She averaged 10 points, 13 rebounds and six blocked shots. Coulombe spent the summer traveling across the country playing AAU basketball for the New England Crusaders. 

Quoted in a local newspaper "(BC) was basically my first choice," Coulombe said. "I always wanted to go there. I took some time and saw other schools, but that was the best fit. I wanted to go to a school with good academics and I've always loved Boston. It was better for me to make the decision early."
