Hoop Mountain Fall Showcase - Class of 2012 Event Recap

A tremedously talented group of 2012 players were in attendance at the showcase Sunday

The Hoop Mountain Fall Exposure event at Boston University this past Sunday had nearly  90 on-looking college coaches as 135 of New England’s most talented prospects showcased their talent.

Here is a look of those who impressed from the Class of 2012

Lexi Sells  5'10 Bishop Feehan - Goes hard to goal.  Attacks the rim hard and can both outside and in 

Briana Stoyle  5'11 Goffstown HS - Athletic interior players who gets up and down the floor very quickly. 

Lizzy Ball  5'7 New Hampton Prep - Controls game and sees the floor very well.  Strong handle and does not mind contact. Rebounds well from point position. 

Candace Steadman 5'10 Oliver Ames - Extremely athletic. Got out in transition and use her superior athleticism to score and rebound 

Ryanne Williams  5'10 Norwell HS - Good attack moves who goes strong to goal. Good passer 

Ali Wells  5'6 Essex HS - Good basketball IQ. Sets good screens and solid passer 

Ashley Forand  5'6 EO Smith HS - Very athletic guard who stays low to the ground and goes hard to goal. Good defender. Good shooter with soft touch 

Nicole Grossbard 5'4 Pearl River HS - Good court sense, solid handle and defends really wll 

Maddy Fulton 5'10 Wilton HS - Good Rebounder with solid potential down low

Katie Murray  6'0 Wachusett HS - Good size for a wing who can shoot it very well.  

Ashley Clough  5'10 Keene HS - Inside out player who finishes strong either way. Goes strong to rim and creates a lot of contact 

Maddy Blais  6'0 New Hampton- Long wing with very good range. Can play inside and out and very good passer. 

Victoria Stewart 5'8 Amherst Regional - pushes the ball well up the floor and good distributor of the basketball 

Ella Ramonas  5'10 Deering HS - Sees floor very well and reads defense to get open, make adept passes and score 

Sam Brenner  6'2 New Hampton Prep -Shot changer with good feet. Long and athletic finisher 

Sarah Palazola  5'10 Danvers HS - Slasher who has solid attack moves and gets to the rim aggressively 

Kayla Papazian  5'11 Archbishop Williams - Solid interior post defender and communicate exceptionally weel.  Crashes glass hard and runs the floor very well 

Rachel Camara  5'4 Durfee HS - Stays low on drives and goes strong to the goal 

Taylah Pelote  6'0 Taunton HS - Strong and physical, moves well without the ball, works hard on the defensive end 

Nicole Catizone  5'6 Arlington Catholic - Strong off dribble with good offensive attack moves, good defender with quick hands 

Ceara McNamara  6'1 Souhegan HS - Strong post defender. Gets low on post up and goes strong to goal. Gets to the line 

Shayla Hubbard  5'9 Laconia HS -Tremendous defender. Gets the ball ahead and directs traffic very well.  Great help defender and communicator 

Megan Gaudreau  5'11 Pomfret School - Very athletic shooter with good range. Strong defender 

Danielle Davis  5'8 Masconomet - Sees openings and exploits the defense on drives. Gets up and down the floor very quickly 

Haili Welton  5'9 Pomperaug - Sees floor well has good range on her jumper. Strong pull up 

Briana Schnare  6'3 Wachusett HS- Solid presence inside side. Hook shot was unstoppable and has a nice jumper 15feet and in 

Lauren Hetherman 5'4 Westborough HS - Very quick defender with solid hands 

Marissa Cicchetti 5'7 Bishop Feehan HS - Smart point who has a good court sense and sees floor well.  Very good ranfe 

Ashley Perez  5'9 Manchester HS - Unbelievable range and athleticism. Smart player who is moves well without ball to create.  Strong on the ball and can get to the rim 

Michaela Flanagan 5'7 Archbishop Williams- Shooter with very good range, Works hard on every play and solid positional defender 

Shannon Holt  6'3 Wachusett HS - Great size and changes the game because of it.  Carves out a lot of space on both ends. Moves well. 

Megan Kerbs  5'9 Rivers School - athlete with good range and soft shot. Pass the ball very well.  

Megan Otto  5'11 Scituate HS - slashing wing who has solid attack moves off the dribble 

Kate Krauss  5'7 Milton HS - Gets to the rim and works hard on both ends of the floor 

Audrey Knowlton  5'8 Gloucester HS - Hard working guard, defends at a high level and solid intermediate game 

Kerry White  5'10 Windham HS - Works hard to get position on the block. Solid post moves and finishes strong 

Niki Laskaris  5'9 Swampscott HS - Plays a number of positions. Solid rebounder and hard working defender 

Daisy Jordan  6'0 Tilton HS - Strong presence inside, rebounds well in traffic, had a number of putbacks and hustled after every loose ball 

Kara Charette  6'0 Fairhaven HS - Good size for a post, displayed an array strong post moves

Erin Doherty  5'10 Marshfield HS - Strong post who gets good position and finishes well. Smart defender with boxes and rebounds well
